Hi, I'm Angelica
As a young girl I had big dreams and bold ambitions of working in Wall Street. I could picture myself walking into those big fancy offices, wearing a power suit and a mean pair of heels. I was relentless in my pursuit, I had to be. Imagine graduating from college during the height of the 08' Financial Crisis and pursuing a career in Finance - not fun. I lost an internship or two, which at the time was devastating, but with time I gained a great perspective on the power of divine redirection. I can write an entire book on all of the obstacles I've had to overcome and maybe one day I will. I can say that as a first generation Latina my climb challenged more than just my intellect. I took a few career pivots that felt counterintuitive at the time but ultimately led me down an unplanned yet exciting career path. Sometimes, even when it's tough to believe, you have to trust in yourself and in the process of becoming and growing.
I had to find myself. My journey regularly made me question if I was good enough or if my dreams were too unrealistic. I wanted to make it but as my authentic self.

As a woman and a minority, I was afraid to create
the life I wanted. You may have guessed it by now,
I was the underdog, but that didn't weaken my
growl. A large part of my success is the strong
values and life lessons instilled by my parents, but it wasn’t until I found the courage to look past the limitations that I saw opportunities everywhere. I met great mentors and teachers who taught me to believe in myself and my natural abilities to thrive.

When I didn’t feel like I belonged, I always belonged to me and my Latina heritage and that gave me the strength to KEEP GOING.

I went from losing internships to finding life-changing opportunities. I went on to obtain my MBA from a top 10 Business School and landed my dream Wall Street career. I'm blessed to say I have traveled the world, 33 countries, and counting. I have lived in New York, San Francisco, Charlottesville, Singapore, and Los Angeles. I have done business across four continents, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. I've even won awards-- not a Grammy, but the kind in my career that matter to me because I earned the heck out of them. A few years ago, I even dared to release a goal setting workbook, Turn Your Goals Into Actions, and my Lifestyle & Career Blog.

I have a pretty exciting career, but by far, my greatest accomplishment has been helping others become exactly who they’ve always wanted to be. Do I love my Wall Street career? YES! Every single day. On the side, I find joy helping women navigate their way into prestigious universities, careers, and opportunities, too.

Enough about me, I can be your mentor, your career guide, or your successful big sister. You decide. Either way, I am here to remind you that your dreams are worth the pursuit and that you have the power to make them all happen! Tell me more about them, I want to hear about YOU.
Let's stay Connected!
With Love,
